Planning a Bridal Shower

Planning a bridal shower can be an exciting yet daunting task if you’re unfamiliar with where to begin or what to do next. I’m here to make it easy for you with tips and tricks to guide you forward with planning the perfect day for the bride-to-be.

1. Who to invite?: The bridal party, close female family members, and friends from the wedding guest list.

2. When to throw it?: Between 3 months and 2 weeks before the wedding. Make sure you choose a date convenient for both the bride and guests.

3. Who pays for it?: The bridal shower is hosted by the bridesmaids or a close female relative. No matter who is hosting the party, make sure you communicate clearly to avoid double planning and every plan is on the same page.

4. When to send invitations?: 4 to 6 weeks before the shower to give people time to fit it into their schedule. Make sure you include the bride’s name, the date, the time, the location, registry information, a way to RSVP, and the names of whoever is hosting.

5. What to expect at the shower?: An assortment of things, but you’ll typically find food, drinks, games, and gifts are usually a part of the afternoon.

And sometimes, there might not be enough time to plan. So if you’re looking for an event planner to take over the day, reach out to schedule a consultation with us today!
